What Hatha entails
Poses are held for five to ten breaths with rest in between, so there is always time to find your alignment and ask questions. Each session opens with breath awareness, moves through a simple standing and seated sequence, and closes with a full guided relaxation.
Because the pace is unhurried, Hatha suits complete beginners, anyone returning after injury or time away, and experienced students who want to refine the basics.

What's included
Everything is provided — arrive in comfortable clothes and we handle the rest.
Guided foundations
Core poses — mountain, warrior I & II, triangle, bridge — taught step by step with props.
Breath work

I've never done yoga. Is Hatha right for me?
Yes — Hatha is our dedicated beginner class. Poses are demonstrated, modifications are always offered, and nobody is ever asked to do something unsafe for their body.
What should I bring?
Just yourself in stretchy clothes. Mats, blocks, belts, blankets and water are all provided at the studio.
How is Hatha different from Vinyasa?
Hatha holds each pose still for several breaths; Vinyasa flows continuously from one pose to the next. Many students do both each week.
